A Week of ‘Battlestar Galactica’
Seasons One, Two, and Three
Sci Fi Channel could definitely teach other (broadcast) networks a thing or two about how to treat their audience right. Regardless of the booming DVD rental and purchasing markets, the network is airing almost the entirety of Battlestar Galactica‘s first three seasons this week. And, entire means entire — just several episodes will be skipped, I presume for scheduling purposes.
Everyday from 8am to 6pm EST, starting on Monday, viewers can catch nine- (Tuesday only) or ten-hour marathons of the spectacular series in episode and season order. The anxiously awaited fourth and final season then kicks off on Friday night at 10pm with the episode “He That Believeth in Me.”
If you need to refresh your memory about what happened to whom and when on the show, or if all of the buzz has finally convinced you to cave in and check out one of television’s best series, now is your chance. So, don’t ever say Sci Fi Channel executives never gave BSG fans anything for free.
