Time Change: ‘Shark’ Season Finale at 8
Murder and Secrets Are on Hand
I can’t be the only fan of the sophomore CBS lawyer show Shark. So, heads-up to fellow followers that tonight’s “Partners in Crime” episode is not only the second-season finale, thanks to the writers strike, but it will air two hours earlier than the series usually does on Sundays, at 8pm EST instead of 10pm. Let’s just hope there’s no golf overrun or the time slot might become 10pm after all.
This one’s a doozy, too, since the plot revolves around an attempt on Sebastian Stark’s life. As a result of the failed hit—which will actually take out one of Shark’s former law partners from his bloodhound glory days as a shady defense lawyer—all sorts of questionable secrets from past deeds will arise.
Guest stars on the installment include Emmy winner Joe Spano (Hill Street Blues, Murder One, NYPD Blue, NCIS), Lisa Lackey (Fallen and mindreader Matt’s wife Janice on Heroes), Jonathan Banks (Day Break, Wiseguy), and a personal favorite of mine, Peter Gallagher (The O.C., Sex, Lies, and Videotape).
Interesting Trivia: Did you know that the four cast members who appear in the above photo—James Woods, Jeri Ryan, Sarah Carter, and Sophina Brown—are the four actors who’ve appeared in the most episodes of Shark, along with Danielle Panabaker, who plays Sebastian’s daughter Julie? Well, now you do. The ladies on this gig have excellent attendance!

I’m glad the blood and gore is usually in the first few minutes as I prefer to miss that part.

That is the question, isn’t it? While it would be a pretty surprising development if Sebastian were disbarred and stayed that way (this isn’t the first time he’s played fast and loose with ethics, of course), I doubt the network would make a permanent change like that.
If any series would have such a daring outcome, though, it would be this one. Can’t wait to see what happens in the third season…
