Supernatural: ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’ Preview
On the February 7th Episode…
Bobby (Jim Beaver), the Winchester brothers’ fellow demon hunter and guardian now that their father is gone, suddenly falls into a suspicious deep coma, forcing Sam and Dean to figure out what the heck is happening to him and who—or what—is responsible.
But, Bobby isn’t as far gone as everyone surrounding him thinks because inside his mind, he’s actually reliving past events that explain why he began tracking demons in the first place. Unfortunately, however, if he remains comatose too long, the eventual result will be death.
So, it looks like there’s yet more backstory development going on in next week’s new episode to clarify the motivations of a secondary yet critical character. On this week’s “Malleus Maleficarum,” we learned all about demoness Ruby and her humble origins as a mere human, albeit a demon-worshipping witch human during the plague era. With details like that, I can’t wait to see what Supernatural showrunners reveal about Bobby in “Dream a Little Dream of Me.”
The 85-second preview below shows Sam and Dean as they visit Bobby in the hospital and discuss the situation. The three-minute second clip is a behind-the-scenes featurette delivered straight from the set of the series. Check it out to learn a bit more about how one of The CW’s better shows is put together.
