The latest “Inside Scoop” featurette for The CW’s Supernatural spotlights some of the props that regularly appear on the series. Property Master Christopher Cooper not only discusses various weapons and doodads viewers have become familiar with over the course of the show, but also how they fit within the larger scheme of the series’ mythology and signature style.
I always get a big kick out of seeing what really happens when an actor on a TV show or in a movie gets stabbed by a huge, lethal sword or shot by a gun. They manage to make those scenes look so real, and the following featurette even touches on how that works on Supernatural.
Also, the show now has its very own section at Facebook, where fans can view cast pictures, learn what’s coming up next on episodes and publicity-wise, download goodies like desktop wallpapers, and join a community of fellow fans of the show.
