In fact, watching the episode last night—which was superb and went in so many terrific, unexpected directions—I found myself wishing that someone at Fox would see the light and bring Standoff back as a mid-season replacement at least. It’s about time that quality programming has returned to FOX TV. Standoff is one of those shows that no matter when you get to see it, you want to watch. The actors are more than eye catching, they have chemistry- and the writing is good. I haven’t seen a romance wrapped up in a drama done this well in a long time.

I hope FOX has to do some rethinking about their line up next year. This show is well worth saving.
