Sploosh! ‘Harper’s Island’ Returns Tonight

Who Will Die This Time?

I can’t be the only person who enjoys CBS’ midseason murder mystery Harper’s Island and actually missed it when it didn’t come on last Saturday. So, good news for my fellow fans, no matter how few we might be. As the title of this post states, the series returns tonight (May 23) with the sixth of 13 episodes, which is called “Sploosh.” That’s gotta have something to do with water, right?

When we last left the poor, destined-to-die Dunn and Wellington wedding party members, Daddy Wellington looked like he was about to take a chandelier to the head (Ouch!) just as Elaine’s father Sheriff Mills finally learned what happened to doomed Reverend Fain (Terrence Kelly), or at least his body. He literally lost his head, of course, in the second episode.

Catch up on the events during “Thwack,” the last episode to air, in the recap video below. Now that folks are starting to get wise about the gruesome murders among them, the suspense is sure to kick it up a notch or five. That’s just what the Summer TV Doctor ordered.

    1. You’re welcome, jill. Thanks for reading and leaving a comment. It looks like Harper’s Island is really about to heat up. I can’t wait to find out who meets their maker next, so CBS better not yank the show before we get to the very end and learn who the murderer is. Right now, I have no clue.
