Sendhil Ramamurthy Debuts on ‘Covert Affairs’
Heroes Vet Has a New Show

USA Network’s hit new spy drama Covert Affairs finally gets around to introducing the show’s one remaining regular cast member during the fresh July 20 episode “Walter’s Walk.” The newcomer is former Heroes star Sendhil Ramamurthy, who plays ace spook Jai Wilcox during his latest gig.
Wilcox comes from a wealthy family well-versed in the ways of the CIA. However, all eyes will remain on Piper Perabo‘s rookie spy Annie Walker for the most part during “Walter’s Walk” as she tries to locate a mother and son who disappear after providing proof that an IRA cell has set up shop in the United States.
Can Annie find the missing informants before the IRA group sends them on their way to another realm? Probably so, with a little help from her fellow agents.
Covert Affairs will also offer viewers a little something extra during the premiere of the series’ latest episode: a special preview of the upcoming Angelina Jolie action flick Salt, which opens nationwide in the United States this Friday, July 23. How appropriate since Covert Affairs is about a feisty female CIA spy, as is the feature film destined to become another blockbuster on Jolie’s résumé.
Keep going to check out three sneak peeks at the latest Covert Affairs installment before it premieres at 10pm ET. USA Network is obviously feeling very generous this week, which we Annie fans appreciate. May the preview bounty continue for the rest of the season.
FYI: You can also catch the new “Need to Know” episode of terrific sophomore series White Collar right before Covert Affairs at 9pm ET.
