‘Scrubs’ and ‘Til Death’ Are Done

Or So Say Their Stars

Scrubs

If you haven’t already heard, there’s bad news brewing for fans of the ABC sitcom Scrubs and the Fox comedy ‘Til Death. Word of mouth from their respective stars Zach Braff and Brad Garrett is that both shows are toast.

In each case, the biggest culprit for the show’s demise is poor ratings, which Garrett freely admitted in a recent interview with website Zap2it. Although ‘Til Death fans have yet to see 14 unaired episodes during the current fourth season, Scrubs closed its ninth season last week on March 17.

Fox confirmed ‘Til Death‘s cancellation to The Wrap on March 23, but ABC apparently hasn’t said anything official about Scrubs‘ future, despite Braff’s recent statement on Facebook that his signature series is “no more.”

Of course, most viewers saw this coming long ago. That doesn’t make it any easier for each comedy’s remaining fans to swallow, though.

FYI: According to The Futon Critic, ‘Til Death will continue to air Sundays on Fox from 7–8pm ET until May 9.
