‘Old Christine’ and ‘Accidentally on Purpose’ Team Up

CBS Has a New Wednesday Comedy Block

The New Adventures of Old Christine

CBS’ Wednesday-night, 8–9pm ET comedy block is back airing fresh episodes on April 7, with reliable The New Adventures of Old Christine continuing to open the hour. However, now that Old Christine‘s former companion Gary Unmarried has ended its sophomore run, the Emmy-winning sitcom will pair with the Jenna Elfman rookie Accidentally on Purpose. I’m totally happy with that since I enjoy both shows.

Old Christine begins its spring run with the title character having the best intentions to take her son Ritchie on a family vacation all the way to Florida during “Up in the Airport.” But, as often happens with frazzled Christine, her best intentions don’t always lead to good things, which means her vacation plans don’t go anywhere near the way she hoped they would.

Accidentally on Purpose‘s brand-new episode “Face Off” features guest star Olivia Munn of Greek and the upcoming Iron Man sequel. She plays Nicole, the nurse Billie hires to help care for her and Zack’s baby. Of course, as soon as easy-on-the-eyes Nicole arrives on the scene, her presence quickly stirs up trouble, particularly for Billie and Zack’s buddies Davis and Ryan.

Sneak some peeks at the new episodes below before tuning in for the full hour of funny.
