The spookiest holiday of the year may have come around four days ago, but believe it or not, several series are just getting in their holiday kicks.
November 2007 Sweeps: Day 4 Events
- ABC
- BROTHERS & SISTERS—Danny Glover is in the house, although I still can’t believe he was cast as a love interest for the Flying Nun, I mean multiple Oscar and Emmy winner Sally Field. [10:01pm EST]
- DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES—Wisteria Lane is an exceedingly dangerous place to live, you know, especially at Halloween parties filled with masters of deception and gossip. [9pm EST]
- CBS
- THE AMAZING RACE—Season 12 begins after a pit stop at the Playboy Mansion with the series’ first trip to gorgeous Ireland. Additional previously unvisited spots coming up include Croatia and Lithuania, which makes me officially jealous of each and every competitor. [8pm EST]
- COLD CASE—The landmark 100th episode goes out of this world when Team Lilly take on a case from 1938 that involves Orson Welles’ radio broadcast of “War of the Worlds.” [9pm EST]
- Fox
- FAMILY GUY 100th EPISODE SPECIAL—Griffin family highlights from the first 99 episode include spoofs, musical performances, and extra hilarious scenes. [8:30pm EST]
- FAMILY GUY—The animated series presents its 100th episode, and it looks like diabolical little Stewie might finally succeed at getting rid of his mom Lois. [9pm EST]
- THE SIMPSONS—in “Treehouse of Horror XVIII,” terror and trauma besiege the Simpson brats and their Springfield posse when Flanders goes supernatural on their butts. Last year’s “Treehouse of Horror XVII” precedes at 7:30, as well as another notable repeat at 7:00. [8pm EST]
- Sci Fi Channel
- CROC—What’s a Sunday night without a made-for-TV creature feature about a gigantic, murderous reptile? Not a darn thing, I tell ya. Kill Bill‘s Michael Madsen stars. [9pm EST]
- VH1
- THE SHOT—On basic cable’s newest model-obsessed reality series, the fashion photographers who bring the images to life finally get all the attention. This competition spotlights ten amateur snappers as they battle one another for the chance to go pro. [10pm EST]
