November 2007 Sweeps – Day 14: ‘Project Runway’ Returns

Team Heidi & Tim Make the World More Fashionable and Fun

Project Runway

Season Four is here for Project Runway, television’s most intriguing—and demanding—reality design competition, and fans should be thrilled that the same winning team remains in place. Supermodel Heidi Klum, fashion guru Tim Gunn, and savvy judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia are all onboard for the season that’s being billed as one filled with a more accomplished, competent, and surprising slate of fashion-forward competitors. It all gets underway on Bravo during the premiere episode “Sew Me What You Got” (love that title) at 10pm EST tonight.

Other Day 14 Events

  • ABC
    • PUSHING DAISIES—Watch this one if only for the jarring title “Bitches.” Doesn’t that sound a bit out of synch with this fairy tale-ish, Day-Glo series? [8pm EST]
    • PRIVATE PRACTICE—Gilmore Girls Alert! Former player David Sutcliffe guest stars as—What else?—yet another potential bump in the tedious romantic road of Addison’s trying life. [9pm EST]
    • DIRTY SEXY MONEY—ABC’s got a trifecta tonight. And, who doesn’t love a wedding during Sweeps? Will Karen Darling get hitched or won’t she, for the fourth time around? [10:02pm EST]
  • CBS
    • CRIMINAL MINDS—The Jamie Kennedy Experiment‘s title experimenter guests as a cannibalistic serial killer with a most alliterative name: Floyd Feylinn Ferell. Feylinn? For a dude? Maybe it was the middle one that pushed him over the edge. You think? [9pm EST]
  • Comedy Central
    • SOUTH PARK—Say goodbye for now to the naughty little boys and girls, all of whom are already guaranteed to be back for at least four additional seasons. That’s no typo, folks, which means more South Park for everyone until 2012. Contain yourselves. [10pm EST]
  • NBC
    • LIFE—Every episode of this underappreciated and underpromoted rookie show is great, no matter who is or is not guest starring. Tonight, central character and ex-convict Charlie Crews will once again become a murder suspect. It just had to happen sooner or later. Ain’t Life grand? [10:01pm EST]

NOTE: After a couple of weeks of publishing a composite post containing both Sweeps events and the previous day’s ratings results, I’m finally splitting the write-ups in two. This format is easier to publish on a timely basis and easier to reference in the future.
