Mad About Men

Mad Men

Monday | July 21

Date My Ex: Jo & Slade: I had no idea who these two people are until I looked ‘em up. Apparently, they were on the show The Real Housewives of Orange County, which is just another one of the gazillion reality series I don’t bother watching. [10pm EST/Bravo]

Tuesday | July 22

How to Look Good Naked: Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s Carson Kressley begins the second season of his reality series based on the U.K. predecessor. I think this is the one where the real women with real bodies walk around in their undies, at least judging by the promos. [10pm EST/Lifetime]

General Hospital: Night Shift: No, I don’t watch soaps either. But my TV buddy caught the first season of this online, so I feel like I’ve seen it, too. Season Two opens with an episode called “Crash.” [11pm EST/SOAPNet]

Wednesday | July 23

Criss Angel: Mindfreak: The fourth-season premiere features Angel attempting to walk on a lake, specifically Lake Mead in Nevada. Before anybody gets excited, I assure you it will all be just an illusion. [10pm EST/A&E]

Thursday | July 24

Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?: Season Two ends. [8pm EST/Fox]

Fear Itself: Hellboy’s Doug Jones, who plays intriguing merman-ish Abe Sapien in the feature flicks, gives small-screen fantasy a try. [10pm EST/NBC]

Friday | July 25

Duel: The second season ends here, as well. [9pm EST/ABC]

Saturday | July 26

Anacondas 3: Come on? How can anyone pass up a chance to see a third movie about gigantic boas from South America, especially when The Hoff himself (otherwise known as David Hasselhoff to the uncool) stars? [9pm EST/Sci Fi Channel]

The Graham Norton Show: Martial arts master and international superstar Jackie Chan drops by to chat. [10pm EST/BBC America]

Sunday | July 27

Army Wives: Ugly Betty actress Ana Ortiz guest stars on the hit military drama as a troublesome waitress who’ll cause some trouble for one of the title spouses. Be-yotch! [10pm EST/Lifetime]

Mad Men: The series nominated for 95 Emmys last week — just kidding; it was only sixteen — returns for a second season of drama. Consider jumping on the retro bandwagon if you’re not already on it. [10pm EST/AMC]

The Next Food Network Star: And the winner will be crowned on the fourth-season finale. [10pm EST/Food Network]

NOTE: All times are Eastern Standard Time (EST)
