Jeffrey Dean Morgan It’s official—former model and reality show star Anna Nicole Smith passed away on February 8 due to an accidental drug overdose.

Supernatural daddy, also known as Jeffrey Dean Morgan in real life, will reprise his role as the beloved Denny Duquette in Grey’s Anatomy‘s April 12 clip episode “Every Moment Counts.”

Former United States Vice President Al Gore will receive the Founders Award during November’s International Emmys ceremony. According to Variety, the award acknowledges Gore’s “role in launching cable/satellite channel Current TV and his ongoing effort to alert the world to global warming.” Nice.

ABC’s Men in Trees will return with fresh episodes on April 12, two weeks earlier than previously announced. Sayonara, October Road (And thank you, most merciful heavenly entities).

CBS trumped the competition on Sunday night (despite a 40-minute delay for the post-8pm, primetime fare—I should know because I was waiting for Cold Case and Without a Trace, which kept me up to nearly midnight), spurred by NCAA hoops action earlier in the evening.

In more ratings results, Six Degrees, ABC’s excellent happenstance serial drama, returned from an almost five-month hiatus last Friday night, only to garner underwhelming, fifth-place ratings of a measly 4.6 million. What an awful, awful pity. Wake up, TV viewers, and smell the quality!

Canadian actress Tamara Taylor, the newest cast member of Fox’s splendid Bones, is getting hitched.

Kid, also known as Christopher Reid, of 80s–90s rap duo Kid ‘n Play is working on landing his own talk show for 2008. This I’m looking forward to.

And finally, Harry Potter fans, fear not, for the teenagers who portray all three lead wizards—namely, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, *and* the awesome Emma Watson—are officially on board to continue their roles in the final two films of the seven-film saga.
