‘Nikita’ Third Season Concludes

Could Be Cap of Last Full Season

Gloomy but exhilarating CW Friday-night staple Nikita closes its third season tonight, May 17, at 8pm ET with the finale “Til Death Do Us Part.” That title could have more meaning than many fans would like, considering this month’s news that the show will return in 2013–2014 for a fourth season… of six measly episodes.

The limited Season Four run indicates the end is too quickly drawing near for the always entertaining series starring Maggie Q, Lyndsy Fonseca, Shane West, Aaron Stanford, Noah Bean, and Melinda Clarke as renegade covert ops specialists who lead lives more exciting and dangerous than most people could handle.

In the upcoming season finale, Nikita (Maggie Q) faces the most deadly mission yet, all thanks to deviously demented Amanda (Clarke). Will she carry out Crazy A’s plan and execute the highest-profile politician in the United States? Or will she find a way to defy her former mentor and manage to avoid the murder of her dearest loved one? With the series finale just around the corner next season, there’s really no way to predict how the predicament will end, except with a major cliffhanger (or cliffhangers), of course.

Nikita currently airs Fridays on The CW at 8pm ET
