Next on September 6 ‘The Closer’ and ‘Rizzoli & Isles’
Mary McDonnell and Chazz Palminteri Return
Next on TNT’s Monday-night crime block are the new September 6, Labor Day episodes of The Closer and Rizzoli & Isles called “Last Woman Standing” and “The Beast in Me,” respectively.
Mary McDonnell reprises her role on The Closer as Brenda’s occasional foe Captain Sharon Raydor at 9pm ET. Her appearance probably has something to do with Brenda’s interview with the mayor for the police chief position, which kinda interferes with Team Brenda’s investigation of a wannabe actress and online dater’s murder.
The 10pm ET episode of Rizzoli & Isles features another appearance by Chazz Palminteri, who plays the recurring role of Jane Rizzoli’s father Frank. While his son tries to help him expand his list of customers, Jane and Maura investigate a dead identy thief’s background, which seems connected to the Irish mob.

The Closer and Rizzoli & Isles currently air Mondays on TNT at 9pm and 10pm ET, respectively
