TNT caper dramedy Leverage (thankfully) returns after a holiday weekend off with the fresh July 11 episode called “The Double Blind Job.”
During their latest adventure in crime and crooks, the members of Team Nate take on the dishonest CEO of an influential pharmaceutical company who is determined to release a medication that has the potential to kill thousands of people. How sad is it that that doesn’t sound so farfetched in today’s world? Very.
The title most likely refers to double blind clinical experiments, which keep both the researchers conducting the investigation and the subjects participating in it completely unaware of who is receiving the studied treatment or not. The methodology is a nifty, non-biased method for determining how effective a treatment actually is, so let’s see how Team Nate handles it on their latest case.
