Next on ‘HawthoRNe’: The Starting Line

Ethics Schmethics

HawthoRNe

Another Tuesday, another new excellent episode of sophomore TNT medical drama HawthoRNe. The June 29 installment airing at 9pm ET is called “The Starting Line.”

The main plotline focuses on Christina, who ends up taking her disapproval all the way to the ethics committee when downtrodden James River Hospital refuses to give treatment to a patient who happens to be hooked on heroin.

Meanwhile, highly competent and very likable James River employee Marcus begins to develop a relationship with Christina’s daughter Camille (wonder how momma’s gonna feel about that), and a patient reveals a major secret to her adopted son.

A preview for “The Starting Line” follows. It looks like two certain nurses still aren’t getting along, which can only mean one thing: tons more fun watching them bicker.

  1. I love this show. I had stopped watching dramas a while now, but this show has my attention. So now I watch two shows 1 comedy and Hawthorne.

Interestingly I do believe that the nurses are the front line in the hospitals. They get the initial spec and then later administer treatment as directed. The show is realistic.

The cast chemistry also feels very good. They work well in front of the camera and seem natural and believable.

    1. Excellent observations, Nikki. HawthoRNe is like a breath of fresh air, simply because the plots and characters are so real. The second season is good so far, and it looks like it’s going to get even better. I’m glad the show is back.
