‘NCIS’ Syndication Begins Today on USA
Military Drama Joins Basic-Cable Lineup
The New Year brings good news for fans of CBS’ JAG spinoff NCIS, in addition to those who’ve always wanted to watch the series but never had the chance. Basic-cable’s USA will begin syndicating the show tonight at 9pm EST. Better yet, each Wednesday, two episodes will air back-to-back and in order, beginning with the series pilot. Thank you!
I’ve always liked the Mark Harmon-led military drama, but my viewing slacked off and then petered out to nothing at the end of the second season. The reason was simple: there were just too many other excellent shows on other networks, and this was before online video streaming and episode downloads became so prevalent.
USA is doing viewers an enormous favor by starting the syndication run with the premiere episode “Yankee White” from 2003, as well. I know I, for one, hate it when a series repeats off-network in a random order that makes no logical sense. So, if you’ve always been meaning to get reacquainted with the interesting crime procedural or watch it for the first time, now is definitely the point to hop to it.
