Malleus Maleficarum: The Next ‘Supernatural’ Sizzles

These Boys Are Hot, Hot, Hot

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles/Supernatural

Given my longstanding love for brothers Sam and Dean Winchester and their many harrowing adventures, you can imagine how floored I was when I took a look at the following two clips from next Thursday’s brand-new episode of Supernatural, “Malleus Maleficarum.” Warner Bros. was all kinds of too kind to send me the previews, and now I simply C-A-N-N-O-T W-A-I-T to see the whole episode in all its wicked glory.

Although I don’t write that often about The CW’s most underpromoted show ever, you’d better believe I’m parked right in front of the tube every time an original episode airs. In fact, the incredibly entertaining series is one of just two or three shows I watch in real time, every time, instead of recording it for later.

The January 31st installment, which airs at 9pm EST, is the first of four new episodes viewers are being treated to over the next month before the Supernatural well of TV goodness runs dry … thanks to the current endless writers strike (of course).

In the first clip, Sam and Dean run into deceptively pretty Ruby (Katie Cassidy) on the road, and the encounter ends in a pretty intense disagreement all around. Tempers flare, voices rise, guns are drawn, and all that jazz.

The second clip features just the brothers as they once again go back and forth in a heated dispute, before a little “witchiness” causes some exceedingly high drama. It’s not for the weak of stomach, so don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Watch and enjoy! Then don’t forget to return next Friday for a first look at the second new episode of Supernatural this winter season, February 7th’s “Dream a Little Dream of Me.”

Supernatural currently airs Thursdays on The CW at 9pm EST
