Invitation to a Free ‘Pushing Daisies’ Screening
Featuring a Special Introduction by Creator Bryan Fuller
There’s no doubt that ABC’s Pushing Daisies is one of the most anticipated and most unique new series of the forthcoming Fall 2007 season. Created and executive produced by Bryan Fuller of Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls cult-TV acclaim, not to mention directed by Barry Sonnenfeld of Men in Black and The Addams Family big-screen fame, the crime dramedy romance stars Lee Pace as a supernaturally gifted baker who can both giveth and taketh away life with a single touch of his fingertip.
ABC recently announced that the network is sponsoring a free Pushing Daisies screening that will take place on Thursday, August 16, at 8pm. The Hollywood, California, event—which is open to the general public on a first come, first admitted basis—will also feature a special introduction delivered by Fuller and, some say, members of the cast. If you’re interested, make plans to arrive as early as possible at the following address. I wish I could say I might see you there, but, as usual, all of the good free stuff is happening on the wrong coast for me.
