Sophie

The sitcom Sophie stars Natalie Brown as the title character Sophie Parker, a successful career woman who heads a talent agency. Unfortunately, her longtime significant other Rick Ryder (Sebatstian Spence) ups and leaves her for Melissa Bryant (Amy Lalonde), Sophie’s former best friend and former best client, right before she has their baby.

Even worse, Rick decides to open a rival agency and starts stealing many of her clients, except for the one she least wants, difficult aging actress Estelle Burroughs (Sara Botsford). Despite those problems, Sophie’s self-centered mother Judith Parker (Mimi Kuzyk) remains convinced that her daughter and Rick should reconcile, which forces Sophie to rely on her best friend Matt Scott (Jeff Geddis) for support more than ever.
