Syndication Begins Tonight!
Have you been missing the good ol’ Mandy Patinkin days on CBS’ hit FBI procedural Criminal Minds?
If so, I’ve got good news because tonight at 11pm EST, basic cable’s A&E will begin syndicating the series. Even better, from what I can tell based on the limited schedule currently available, it looks like the network is going to do fans a favor and air the series in chronological order, starting with the pilot episode “Extreme Aggressor.”
The programming isn’t necessarily set in stone, however, since anybody who’s ever watched syndicated shows on other basic-cable networks — USA and Sci Fi Channel come immediately to mind — knows that schedules can change at any given moment. Then, before you realize what’s happened, the episodes have jumped three seasons ahead or backwards. It’s so annoying when they do that.
Although A&E will probably begin airing Criminal Minds more often in the future, for now the network is sticking with Fridays at 11pm and the following Saturday morning at 3am. Enjoy!
