So You Think You Can Dance | 8pm

Ghost Hunters International | 9pm

Wicklow’s Gaol: Season Two begins with a trip to the title location.
[Syfy, 63 minutes, Season Premiere]

Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns | 9pm

Meet the Secret: Tyler Perry’s second successful basic-cable sitcom moves to a new, one-hour earlier time slot. Another fresh episode, “Meet the Intervention,” follows at 9:30pm to complete the typical hourlong comedy block.
[TBS, 30 minutes, Time Change]

The Philanthropist | 10pm

Paris: Team Teddy takes on the plight of girls and women trapped in a nasty, vicious sex-trafficking ring. The action begins on a trip to Paris, where Olivia encounters an old friend named Isabelle who soon reveals her involvement with powerful pimp Bejan. Death follows, making Teddy and his colleagues even more determined to stop the corruption. Check out a sneak peek below, which features Teddy and Dax in really big trouble.
[NBC, 60 minutes]

Top Chef Masters | 10pm

Magic Chefs: It looks like that one-week break was worth it. Not only does How I Met Your Mother, Harold & Kumar, and Doogie Howser, M.D. standout Neil Patrick Harris make a special appearance, but viewers get the awesome opportunity to watch the chefs — and I’m not making this up — cook eggs with one hand tied behind their back. Talk about an invaluable skill! However, moms (and some dads) everywhere could do it with their eyes closed, too. Just sayin’…
[Bravo, 60 minutes]

Reno 911! | 10:30pm

Wiegel’s Couple’s Therapy: Season Six comes to a close with Deputy Raineesha Williams reluctantly accompanying her fellow deputy, Trudy Wiegel, to couple’s therapy after Trudy’s insurance allotment for psychiatric assistance runs out. It’s nice to know that at least one of the Reno Sheriff Department’s finest has been taking full advantage of therapy. Too bad that still hasn’t done a bit of good, though.
[Comedy Central, 30 minutes, Season Finale, <a href="http://www.comedycentric.com/2009/07/06/sound-the-sirens-reno-911-season-six-giveaway/" rel="nofollow" title="Sound the Sirens: 'Reno 911!'
Saturday | July 4

Wedding Day: The opening episode of TNT’s first original reality series premiered on a Tuesday at 8pm, the second episode moved to Thursday at 8pm the next week, and now the third episode has landed on the following Saturday morning at 9am, the show’s new permanent (or so they say) time slot. That’s right — I wrote Saturday mornings at 9am. Unfortunately, I’ll still be dreaming about winning the lottery or whatever at that early hour.
[Christina and Shawn, TNT, 60 minutes, 9am]

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: Prefer your pyrotechnics on the small screen, at a guaranteed safe and uncrowded distance? Then you can’t do much better than this famous department store’s traditional annual extravaganza. Scheduled to appear are Natasha Bedingfield, Kenny Chesney, Jewel, Katharine McPhee, Karen Olivo, Jordin Sparks, Rob Thomas, and the cast of Broadway’s West Side Story.
[NBC, 60 minutes, 9pm]

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular: Ditto, only this time you can celebrate Independence Day from afar with Beantown dwellers and visitors. Late night talk’s Craig Ferguson hosts again, Keith Lockhart conducts the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, and living legend Neil Diamond performs before, during, and after impressive fireworks over the gorgeous Charles River.
[CBS, 60 minutes, 10pm]

Eli Stone: Since CBS’ fun Harper’s Island is taking the holiday off, I’m glad reliable old Eli will still be around. During this, the next-to-last episode left in the series (*sniffle*), Eli suffers from visions of his dad. Meanwhile, he and Jordan take on a corporate-greed case after the older attorney meets a room service waiter who was a victim of executive mismanagement. Reprising their roles are Everwood‘s Tom Amendes as Martin Posner and Ed‘s Tom Cavanagh as Eli’s father Aaron Stone. Good times!
[Tailspin, ABC, 60 minutes, 10pm]

Sunday | July 5

‘Til Death: Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher return as Eddie and Joy Stark during a summer run of repeats, leading up to the currently scheduled September 18th Season Four premiere.
[Joy Ride, Fox, 30 minutes, 7pm]

Malcolm in the Middle: Mommy and daddy may have their own successful shows on basic-cable now — meaning Jane Kaczmarek‘s Raising the Bar on TNT and Bryan Cranston‘s Breaking Bad on AMC — but fans of their earlier sitcom can now enjoy it syndicated on yet another network.
[Nick at Nite, 30 minutes, 8pm, Network Premiere]

Happy Fourth of July, my fellow Americans. There’s no three-day weekend for most of us, but a holiday is still a holiday.

Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? | 8pm

Jeff Foxworthy and company are back from hiatus.
[Fox, 60 minutes]

According to Jim | 9pm & 9:30pm

The Daddy Way/Physical Therapy: The popular canceled sitcom, which lasted eight healthy seasons, returns for a number of back-to-back repeats over the coming weeks.
[ABC, 30 minutes]

Mental | 9pm

Rainy Days: Fox had been airing same-week repeats of this lackluster House-wannabe during the current time slot, but now the new episodes that used to debut on Tuesdays at 9pm are permanently moving to Fridays at 9pm, with repeats totally kaput. Sorry, fans.
[Fox, 60 minutes]

Margaret Cho: Beautiful | 11pm

A comedy special featuring one of standup’s preeminent comediennes, who just happens to have a new Lifetime dramedy called Drop Dead Diva premiering in a little over a week, on Sunday, July 12.
[Showtime, 90 minutes]

The fresh pickings are definitely slim tonight, thanks to the upcoming Fourth of July weekend holiday. But while there’s no new Burn Notice or Royal Pains, Penn & Teller will be deconstructing more bullshit on HBO, and ABC is serving up a double dose of sitcom Samantha Who? after yanking In the Motherhood from the schedule yet again earlier this week. Blame the ratings, fans.

Samantha Who? | 8pm

Todd’s Job: After Samantha realizes she may have prevented Todd from becoming a successful photographer back when she was still evil, she decides to sabotage the other competition in the running for a new job at a local newspaper. Dondré Whitfield (Ghost Whisperer), husband of Eureka‘s Salli Richardson-Whitfield (aka Allison Blake), guest stars as Wes Green.
[ABC, 30 minutes]

Samantha Who? | 8:30pm

The Sister: To her surprise, Samantha discovers she has both an aunt and a grandmother nobody has ever mentioned post-amnesia because of an ongoing family feud. Royal Pains‘ Christine Ebersole plays auntie Amy and Brady Bunch icon Florence Henderson plays nana Loretta.
[ABC, 30 minutes, Christine Ebersole interview]
