‘Bones’ and ‘Fringe’ Begin Uninterrupted Spring Runs
Fox Promises Eight Weeks of Fresh Stuff

Thursday nights are about to heat up again with the April 1 return of Fox’s two top-notch female-led crime series Bones and Fringe. Even better, the network is doing right by fans with an uninterrupted spring run of eight new episodes for each drama.
First up at 8pm ET is the Bones midseason premiere “The Bones on a Blue Line,” featuring guest stars Clea Duvall (Heroes, Carnivàle) as McKenna Grant and Carla Gallo (Men of a Certain Age, Californication) reprising her role as intern Daisy Wick. The plot focuses on the release of Temperance’s second book, as her team investigates a derailed train that reveals the body of a murdered writer who was one part of a love triangle, all under the intrusive watch of a nosy reporter.
Next at 9pm is sci-fi thriller Fringe and its spring premiere “Peter,” which introduces Irish actress Orla Brady (The Deep End, Shark) in the role of Peter’s mother Elizabeth Bishop. As the title clearly indicates, Peter’s backstory finally gets full treatment when Walter recalls events from 1985 — 25 years ago, for those who like counting — to help Olivia understand his son’s unique origins.
Preview both April 1 Fox premieres below. The “Bones on a Blue Line” sneak peek features Bones guest star Duvall, and the “Peter” clip showcases Fringe guest star Brady.
