Web Series Revamped for Small Screen

Luke Pasqualino/Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

It’s time for another welcome Battlestar Galactica project on Syfy, this one an updated movie version of the original Web-based YouTube video series Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome. The two-hour film makes its television premiere tonight, February 10, at 8pm ET on Syfy.

A prequel revolving around the early stages of the tragic and epic struggle between humans and Cylons known as the Cylon War, the latest BSG chapter stars 22-year-old English actor Luke Pasqualino (The Borgias, the British TV series Skins) as a very young William Adama at the outset of his career as a fighter pilot. Adama, eager to join a fight against the Cylons, experiences tension with his older and less war-inclined copilot Coker Fasjovik (Ben Cotton of Stargate: Atlantis) soon after he is stationed aboard the Colonial fleet battlestar called Galactica. Look for the Blu-ray and DVD release of Blood & Chrome on Tuesday, February 19.
