Anthony Edwards Returns in ‘Zero Hour’

Conspiracy Drama Debuts

Zero Hour

ER veteran Anthony Edwards has a new show. Billed as an “adventure thriller” by home network ABC, Zero Hour premieres at 8pm ET tonight, February 14.

Edwards portrays New York-based publisher Hank Galliston, a real live professional myth- and conspiracy-buster who helms the decidedly alternative and small-market magazine Modern Skeptic. Hank and his two trusted employees — Scott Michael Foster (Greek) and Addison Timlin (Californication) — get a whopping taste of a genuine, possibly global and ancient conspiracy when his wife Laila ( Jacinda Barrett of Suits) is kidnapped by a lethal terrorist known as White Vincent (Michael Nyqvist, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol).

The motivation for Laila’s abduction turns out to be an antique clock she finds one day at a flea market. Beautiful and expensive-looking, the timepiece is actually a key part of an ongoing puzzle of epic proportions. Now if only Hank, his sidekicks, and FBI Agent Rebecca Riley (Carmen Ejogo, Kidnapped) can all get to the bottom of whatever is going on and survive to tell the tale. A nice plus: multiple Emmy winner Charles S. Dutton (Roc) guest stars in the premiere episode “Strike,” which repeats on Sunday the 17th at 10pm.

Zero Hour will air Thursdays on ABC at 8pm ET
