Former Costars Play Dirty Again

There’s no doubt about it — it’s Angel time on TV these days. Next week, fans of that golden oldie can see a very nice reunion on a current golden TV show when Angel veteran Sam Anderson (Lost, ER) guest stars on his former colleague Christian Kane‘s new TNT caper hit Leverage. Do I need to say I can’t wait?

The episode is called “The Snow Job,” and Anderson plays the corrupt owner of a construction company who gets the special Leverage treatment when his business devastates a National Guardsman after foreclosing on his home. Written by Albert Kim and directed by Tony Bill, it premieres on Tuesday, January 27, at 10pm EST.

From David Boreanaz (Angel) on Fox’s Bones to Julie Benz (Darla) on Showtime’s Dexter to J. August Richards (Charles Gunn) on TNT’s Raising the Bar to Amy Acker (Winifred “Fred” Burkle) on Fox’s upcoming Dollhouse to Kane (Lindsey McDonald) and Anderson (Holland Manners), it’s really, really good to see so many veterans of Joss Whedon’s vampire drama — which I always preferred to its predecessor Buffy the Vampire Slayer anyway — surviving in the business to do such great things on television now.
