AMC Ready to Break Bad Some More
Cranston & Company a Go for Season Two
Today, which is gorgeous here in my corner of the world, couldn’t get any better. Why? Because cable TV’s wise AMC has just announced the renewal of the Bryan Cranston cancer-meth dramedy — how’s that for a unique theme? — Breaking Bad. It looks like fans will receive a second season of 13 episodes as a result. Excellent!
Former Malcolm in the Middle daddy Cranston shines in the funny yet tragic yet funny dark series as New Mexico-based high school chemistry teacher Walter White, who becomes a methamphetamine dealer more out of necessity than malevolent criminality. Add crazy extra points for series creator, executive producer, director, and writer Vince Gilligan due to his X-Files past.
Now if only we fans could get word about a fifth season of the fine British grifter dramedy Hustle, everything would be just fab when it comes to AMC.
