The 2007 November Sweeps Are Here

Get Ready for the Networks to Go All Out, Just for You

Ugly Betty It’s that time of the fall again called November Sweeps when the networks do their damnedest to woo your viewing favor. Traditionally, this means all the bombast they can muster, ranging from stunt guest casting, jaw-dropping plot developments, and (maybe not so) unforeseen deaths.

I’m keeping track of each day in the current Sweeps period, which officially begins today and will end almost exactly four weeks from now on November 28. So, sit back, flick on the tube, and prepare for a month of high-octane programming that should prove a cut or two above the rest of the season. Let’s just hope that the increasingly likely writers’ strike doesn’t dampen the festivities too much.
